Capital Structuring

David Roehm joined Harwood International in 1999. He is Executive Vice President and head of Asset Management. He has oversight over Property Management and Leasing.

He is also responsible for the financial structuring and capitalization of transactions related to Harwood, as well as those for third party engagements in which Harwood International serves as a financial advisor and intermediary. His duties include development, acquisition and disposition underwriting, financial structuring, and the securing of both project and entity level debt and equity capital.


David has over 18 years of experience in real estate consulting, finance, valuation, and capital markets. Early in his financial career, David was a manager with a “Big-Eight” accounting firm. In 1997, David joined the largest, full-service NYSE-member firm based in Texas. As a Vice President of its Corporate Finance Department, David helped create a Real Estate Banking Group, which provided investment banking services to the real estate community. While at that firm, David focused on both the public and private financing of real estate operating companies, as well as property-specific transactions.


David received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985
and a Master’s degree in Real Estate and Land Economics from Texas A&M University at College Station in 1989.
